1. Hesteel Group has built an overseas pattern of "four steel, two mines and one  platform", "Four steel" is Hesteel Stopper steel, Hesteel Macedonian plate Company,  Hesteel South DSP Company, Hesteel American Cracht Steel Company, "two mines" is  Hesteel South African Mining Company, Australia Willara Iron Ore Company, "one  platform" is Hesteel Degao. 

2. On September 7, 2021, Baosteel announced that the company and Saudi Arabian  National Oil Company (referred to as "Saudi Aramco") jointly signed the Memorandum  of Understanding, and negotiated plans to cooperate in Saudi Arabia to build a  world-class full-process thick plate factory. 

3. Delong Group is building the largest steel plant in Southeast Asia in Indonesia,  with an expected production capacity of 20 million tons/year; And a $48 million  hot-rolled strip steel project in Thailand. 

4. Vietnam Yongjin precision stainless steel strip project with an annual capacity  of 250,000 tons under Yongjin Co., Ltd. has been installed and put into trial  production. Thailand Yongjin annual capacity of 260,000 tons of precision stainless  steel strip project has completed the land acquisition work, is going through the  design planning, environmental protection approval and other preliminary procedures. 

Indonesia Yongjin investment of 1.257 billion yuan, the annual processing of 700,000  tons of wide cold-rolled stainless steel strip project has begun construction.  On the morning of May 9, 2023, the "annual processing of 260,000 tons of precision  stainless steel belt" project invested by Yongjin Shares in northern Vietnam  officially started. It is reported that the project is the second project of Yongjin  invested in Vietnam, and also the second project officially started overseas. It  is expected that the first phase of the project will be put into operation in the  second half of next year. After the project is put into operation, it will effectively  supplement the demand for the company's products in the local market in Vietnam.  It is reported that the project is divided into three phases of construction, the  fixed investment of about 125 million US dollars, the main body of the project  implementation of Vietnam Horn gold company New more metal technology Co., LTD.,  plans to build an annual output of 180,000 tons of 300 series 2B wide production  line and an annual output of 80,000 tons of 300 series /400 series BA production  line. 

5. Hebei Wu 'an Iron and Steel in Malaysia to build 10 million tons of large-scale billion ringgit, will start 5 million tons of long process production line, the main  products are hot coil and plate. 

6. Puyang Iron and Steel Group plans to build an annual production line of 600,000  tons of nickel-iron in Indonesia. 

7. Fujian Wusteel Group has teamed up with Shenglong Metallurgy and Malaysia to  build a 10 million ton steel base  

According to media reports, the Malaysian state government of Pahang signed a  memorandum of understanding with United Steel (Malaysia) Group on March 31, 2023  for the integrated steel plant expansion project, which involves an investment of  more than RM5 billion (about 7.55 billion yuan). It is reported that in October 2021,  Beibu Gulf Port Group transferred 50% of the shares held by United Iron and Steel  Project in Malaysia through public listing, and finally Fujian Wusteel Group  successfully bid. 

8. Jingye Group acquired 100% equity of British Steel for 53 million pounds. 

9. At the beginning of 2018, Jianlong Group took control of Dongsteel Malaysia and  plans to build Dongsteel into the most competitive steel conglomerate in Malaysia  with a total production capacity of 5 million tons in the future. 

On April 11, 2023, Jianlong Group officially started the construction and  installation of the first and third bid sections of the 1450mm hot rolled strip  project of Malaysia Dongsteel Phase II. The project was undertaken by China 22MCC  Group. The designed production capacity of the project is 3.5 million tons/year,  and it will have a production capacity of 4 million tons/year after it is put into  operation. The main products include ordinary carbon structural steel, high-quality  carbon structural steel, weathering steel, patterned steel, steel for boilers and  pressure vessels, steel for pipelines, high-strength steel for automotive  structures, Marine steel and so on. 

10. Kunsteel Group to build Myanma-China steel international production capacity  cooperation project, the project plans to build a full-process steel plant with an  annual capacity of 4 million tons (phase 1 construction of 2 million tons/year, phase  2 construction of 2 million tons/year); In Bangladesh, it plans to invest in the  construction of a steel mill with an annual capacity of 2.7 million tons. 

11. Sinosteel will acquire Pakistan Steel Corporation and increase its production  capacity to 3 million tons per year. 

12. Nanjing Iron and Steel Group is building a plant in Indonesia with an annual  steel capacity of 2.6 million tons, which is expected to cost about $380 million,  including four furnace smelting facilities and take 18 months to complete. 

13. Tsingshan Group is building a steel plant with a capacity of 3 million tons in  Indonesia.  

Qingshan Industry is deeply engaged in the Zimbabwean market, since 2012 investment  in the construction of ferrochrome smelter, the scale of investment continues to  expand, has completed the ferrochrome smelter and coke plant two projects, general  carbon steel project is under construction, the above projects and other upstream  and downstream industries will constitute Zimbabwe steel industry Park, the output  value will reach billions of dollars. 

14. In January 2022, Indonesia Delong Industrial Park Phase III project completed  the signing, to build an annual output of 1.8 million tons of nickel iron production  line. Indonesia Delong Industrial Park located in Indonesia's Sulawesi Island is  Jiangsu Delong Nickel's first overseas nickel-iron and stainless steel industrial  park. The first and second phase projects have been included in the key project  database of the Belt and Road Initiative between China and Indonesia and Indonesia's  national strategic project. 

15. Lao Mining Company and Hong Kong Tianyunda International Trading Company signed  a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the construction of China-Laos steel  mills. The steel mill is located in the Special Economic Zone of Taqu County, Gammon  Province, Laos, with a total area of about 126 hectares. 

16. Panhua Group invested 3.5 billion US dollars to build a comprehensive steel plant  with a capacity of 10 million tons in the Philippines. 

17. China invested US $80 million to build a rolling mill in Tanzania. 

18. Yaxing Steel invested in the construction of a steel mill with an annual output  of 2 million tons in Pakistan. 

19. Cathay Steel is investing $26 million to expand its Zan steel plant and build  a new Angle steel plant in Zambia. 

20. Yongstar Group is investing $100 million to build a steel plant in Nigeria. 

21. Huaiyang Metallurgical Group invested 39 million US dollars to build an electric  furnace steel plant in Uzbekistan. 

22. On the morning of May 13, 2022, the first hot metal of electric furnace production  line RKEF2 of Qingdao Indonesia Integrated Industrial Park Nickel-iron Smelting  Project, jointly invested by Taishan Iron and Steel Group, Qingdao City Investment  Group and Qingdao Xiyuan, was successfully produced, marking that the line  officially entered the production stage. 

23. China Baowu and steelAsia reached an agreement to build a steel plant in the  Philippines  

SteelAsia Manufacturing Corp said it has reached an agreement with China's Baowu  Group, the world's largest steel producer, to build a 108 billion peso (US $1.98  billion) integrated steel facility in the Philippines, expanding its capacity to  produce infrastructure and heavy construction materials. 

24. China's MMCC won the bid for the steel structure project of Vietnam's Hefa Rongju  Steel Plant  

On March 28, 2023, China MMCC won the bid for high-span steel structure production  (including material supply) and high-span steel structure installation bid for two  300-ton converter general contract projects of Vietnam Hefa Rongju No. 2 Steel Plant.  After the project is completed and put into operation, it is expected to produce  5.6 million tons of qualified molten steel annually, which has achieved outstanding  results in energy conservation, emission reduction, cost reduction and efficiency  increase. 

25. Baosteel's first overseas full-process steel production base has landed in  Saudi Arabia  

On May 1, 2023, Baosteel officially signed a contract with Saudi Aramco and the Saudi  Public Investment Fund to jointly invest in a joint venture company to build a steel  production base in Saudi Arabia. The base, which is positioned to produce high-end  thick plate products with an annual capacity of 1.5 million tons, is expected to  be put into operation by the end of 2026, mainly serving oil and gas, shipbuilding,  offshore and other fields in the Middle East and North Africa. 

26. MCC Jingcheng signs contract for ArcelorMittal's hot rolling project in India  On May 8, 2023, MCC Jingcheng successfully won the bid and signed a contract for  the 2250mm hot rolling line heating furnace project of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel  India (AMNSI). The three furnaces of the project will adopt the low-nitrogen  combustion technology independently developed by MCC Jingcheng, the latest  ultra-low nitrogen oxide burner, intelligent steel burning control system, "ratio  + pulse" control and other heating furnace technology and equipment with the world's  advanced level. The single furnace output of 420 tons/hour has set a new record for  the single furnace output of MCC Jingcheng hot rolling heating furnace. 

27. Baowu, Delong, Yongfeng and YAsiang are jointly planning to build a new 15.7  million tons steel plant in Leyte Island, Philippines.  

On June 8, Li Huaidong, member of the Standing Committee of the Central South Steel  Party Committee of Baowu Group and senior vice president of Shaoguan Steel and his  delegation visited Xintian Steel. The two sides discussed and exchanged views on  the cooperation project of Baodefeng Steel in the Philippines. The Philippine  Baofeng Steel Cooperation Project is an automated, intelligent and green long-process integrated steel plant to be jointly built by Baowu Group, Delong Steel  Group, Yongfeng Group and Philippines Asia Steel Company (hereinafter referred to  as Asia Steel) in Leyte Island, Philippines. The overall planned annual output of  15.7 million tons of steel and 14.4 million tons of materials is planned to be  completed in three phases. 

28. The construction of Baowu Australia West Slope project is in full swing  

On the evening of June 22, 2023, the opening event of Baowu Australia West Slope  Project was held in Perth, Australia. It is a joint venture project between Rio Tinto  Group (54%) and Baowu (46%) on Xipo Iron Ore Mine in Pilbara region of Western  Australia. It is another joint venture iron ore project with Rio Tinto in addition  to the Borige joint venture project (Dongpo Project). The project is implemented  by Baowu Resources. The project, which is designed to have an annual capacity of  25 million tons of iron ore, includes the construction of a primary crushing plant  and an 18-kilometre conveyor system to connect it to the existing processing plant  at Parabodu and is expected to be completed and put into operation by 2025. 

29. Chongqing Wanda Sheet will build a 10 million-ton full-process integrated steel  plant in the Philippines  

On June 19, 2023, the Chongqing Municipal Conference on Promoting High-quality  Development of Private Economy was held. Li Xinghua, chairman of Chongqing Wanda  Sheet Co., LTD., said that the next step will be to open the "acceleration to the  sea", adhere to open development, and strive to build a world-class steel industry  chain. It will invest 3.5 billion US dollars in the Philippines to build a  full-process integrated steel plant with an annual capacity of 10 million tons and  a port port with a capacity of 300,000 tons, fully opening up its own steel industry  chain, improving the river-sea logistics and transportation system, and providing  raw material guarantee for the global base. 

30. Two 2,500-cubic meter blast furnaces will be built in Vietnam's Hofa Iron and  Steel Plant  

On June 26, 2023, China 19th Metallurgical Group won the bid for the steel structure fabrication and blast furnace body installation project of the 2 × 2500 cubic meter blast furnace ironmaking general contracting project of Vietnam Hefa Rongju Steel Co., Ltd.
